passage of terror review

Passage of terror first opened in blackpool in 1996 and was designed by mpe entertainments the passage of terror you would class as a horror ride well yes you would be right in that sence but its proper name is scare attraction there are 2 in the uk one in blackpool and one in london piccadilly.
the number of actors differ in each one blackpool has 12 live actors that scare you and in london i think there is 20 live actors.
so here is a review of the blackpool one well thats if i can remember everything.
you first start by going to the kiosk thats outside and paying your £7 to go on it then you join the queue line and wait while ur waiting you can look around at whats surrounding you, you can hear people chatting nervously about whats going to happen and also if they ask if there are so many of you then you say yes and prepare to enter with the group already waiting.
as you enter the passage of terror you go down some stairs which this starts the whole effect off because its not very well lit and when you reach the bottom you there is an actor that follows you down and tells you not to run not to use any form of lighting and also not to touch the actors etc etc....so then he says go down the corridor and knock 3 times the knocking is a signal to the actors that your entering their lair of terror.
the door opens and your greeted by a monk he says something to you and then walks over to this iron gate what i can only describe as an old prison cell like that was used in pirates of the carribean movie then which this monk slams open another signal to the actors that your coming.
so as you start walking through its dark and your always looking behind you...then you come to this bit in which there is a witch if you dont clock her breathing you would think she is fake but believe me she isnt.
then when you come to this bit after the witch the monk reappers checks if your all there well when tcnp were on it we lost 2 people he went back to find them and we were thinking that something is going to happen here, so then the monk came back and then we were told to be quiet as there was a man inside playing with himself well thats us giggling then the monk said stop laughing its not funny...you enter this room and then if you look through the dark enough you will see a person sitting in the right hand corner of the room as you walk through he gets up jumps right in front of you and then appears from the curtain its dracular.
then you come out of that bit and this is where it gets confusing for you after you have suffered this slight torment you think thats the worst part over with you would be wrong...
if i remember correctly the next room you come to is the exorsist and you have to go round the outside of the bed and when you do you try not to look in to her eyes the bed is moving up and down and at the moment you least expect it she strikes but there was a little problem this time she went to far and nearly fell off the bed lol.
then you move on to the next bit which you dont know how far you are to the end of this nightmare that you think it is you come to clowns and then this actor jumped up and got tcnp through quickly as one of the people were scared of clowns but before we went through there is a clown on the left of the room thats an actor when we were through all hell broke lose in that room and the rest of the group came out screaming and trying to run away.
so you come to this long corridor this is where the real fun begins as you walk up the corridor the whole front and right side to you lights up white and you see freddie cruger scrap his hand like things down the wall at this point your concentrating on whats in front of you when suddenly freddie pops out of this hatch scaring you, mean while micheal myers from halloween is waiting for you at the top at this point tcnp clocked him and the rest of the group ran off trying to get out leaving only tcnp.
we rounded the top and michel myers had gone only to realise some how he had got behind us we stopped and he bumped in to a member and as he werent scaring us started stomping his feet louder and harder as i thought this was a sign to let the other actors know there were people still inside... during this time we started walking again and we came to what is leather faces slaughter house from the texas chainsaw massacre by this point a little minion thing starts rattling this cage and also he jumps out well at this point it was too much for other tcnp members as the ran leaving only the MD left in that place, so as i started walking out i was getting chased and thought hmm i cant run oh well lets go next min i saw the exit and went for it with mike myers and freddie and jason vorhees and also that little minion thing chasing me leather face jumps out of the corner and i ran in to the wall and then out the door.
1hr 30 mins it took the MD and some members to recover from that.
well thats our review on passage of terror we would do it all again.

Its been awhile since we posted a blog on here with it being christmas and also the team have been busying themselves with the website and also the new mini site.

We just thought we would give you the low down on what has been going on with totalcoastersnparks over the festive period.

TCNP Radio got re-branded in to Vibe Radio and also new image and the Myspace got updated and also we decided that the radio would only get played Friday nights when announced.

We launched 2 official Facebook pages one was for Totalcoastersnparks and the other was for Vibe Radio.

Over the winter period we have just been making some changes to the website and also a recent launch for us is our mini site which can be viewed here Mini Site

Well we are looking in to new things for 2011 so keep an eye out on the website and mini site to see what happens.
